I’m Sherri & Cape Breton is my home. This island is known for its curvy coastlines, rolling hills and mostly for the friendliest of people. The east coast has endless beauty and eternal love stories that I am honoured to capture.

Other than coffee, cats & sunsets...

What truly matters are the people in my life. Being a Mom to Molly and Milo - my brown-eyed, little not so little sunshines- is my greatest sense of pride along with being married to the man who has held my steady gaze since junior high school, Adam (26 years and counting). We are so grateful to be journeying through this ever-fluctuating life of peaks and valleys together. If I am not behind my camera shooting love in all its expressions, I can be found inconsistently on my yoga mat, mostly going on little weekend adventures with my family that often end in ice cream (moonmist is my fav) & a movie, or spending my mornings drinking coffee and eating pancakes at my Dad’s house.

I would like to think it's simple and beautifully imperfect.

take a peek behind the scenes

Life is filled with colourful moments from sunset to sunrise and when you blend light and love together you are left with beautiful moments to hold onto forever. That is what has drawn me to pick up my camera over and over again for the last decade with passion and a desire to never stop learning.

Styled shoots are so much fun but they are more than that.. if you are wondering what they are for, it's actually quite simple… to foster creativity!

I always encourage my couples to dream up a wedding day that is uniquely theirs from epic locations, gorgeous colour schemes, anything their hearts desire. Styled shoots allow me to do the same and dive deeply into my creative side and let all those sparks inside me fly. We can’t forget the importance of collaboration. It is a wonderful way to come together to celebrate the incredible talent of other vendors in the wedding and creative industry and tell a story, each contributing in their own way. When I challenge myself professionally to create something that lights me up inside - I am guaranteed to learn something new and that growth is priceless.
